To everyone that helped out, thank-you greatly. The server is now
running perfectly again. Here's what I did after reading the last few
messages, just in case someone else has the same problem someday and
finds this in the archives:
Fix the hostname in /etc/HOSTNAME
Fix the hostname in /etc/hosts
Fix the hostname in /etc/sysconfig/network
Fix the hostname in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
Reboot server
Now able to log into admin site, all services except sendmail are
functioning. Appeared to be a DNS issue alone at this point, from the #
prompt unable to ping DNS entries outside raq, but able to ping IP.
Went into the admin pages, changed the RaQ's default DNS servers to
another set of DNS servers, reboot, works like a charm!
...I'm going to try switching back to the original DNS servers, if it
works I'll let you all know.
Thanks for your help everyone!
P.S. Peter, send an email to me at devinsmith at telusplanet dot net,
I've got something for you! :-)

The hostname for the Server will be in
/etc/sysconfig/network
should look like
NETWORKING=yes
FORWARD_IPV4=false
HOSTNAME=host.domain.tld
GATEWAYDEV=eth0
GATEWAY=1.2.3.4
