Peter you're like tonic for my mind. :-) After being able to get into
the admin pages, I thought I'd go into the Control Panel, and Network
menu and have a look to see what it said. I now see what has happened -
but I can't fix it. Maybe you have an idea! Here's how it reads:
General Settings
Sun Cobalt Server Name 216.194.67.81
Domain Name ilumen.ca
...now I'm guessing that's where my problem is. It even says in the
help that the server name must start with a letter... I tried changing
it and saving it, but it just reverts back to this again. Where is this
information stored? Can I change the files to modify it to start up
correctly? Thanks again!!

did you make a "top" to see what is running? What are the CPU states?
Some of the log messages indicating that DNS is not working but you said
already that it was not running. Like i said, make a "top" and see how
many processes are running, look at %CPU and %MEM.
