What is your Maximum Message Size (MB) set for?
I set mine fairly low, 3MB and have considered setting it for 2MB. I
simply inform clients that email is not designed for file transfer and
suggest they use a peer to peer program.
That could be one place your traffic is coming from. Also, make sure you
use robots.txt files in your sites to keep search spiders from following
CGI links and image directories if possible.
