Reverse lookup [ gethostbyaddr() ] doesn't care how many 'A' records or how
many MX records you have, it wants a PTR record.
If you are not having the delay then somebody, somewhere is answering the
gethostbyaddr() call.

Many services on a RaQ, as a security measure will attempt to
gethostbyaddr(), the timeout can be something like 25 seconds, and two or
three attempts will be made.

The ironic thing, is that the cobalt sever will go ahead and service the
request, even though the gethostbyaddr() call failed, although you can
configure such that it will not.

If you know the users IP address host name then entering the IP address -
host name in /etc/hosts file will resolve the gethostbyaddr() call FAST.
