It's out of control....anyone have any good advice about software I might
be able to install to help filter some of this crap out? It's seriously
getting to be a true problem.
We've had decent results on our Qube3 using a three-layered approach of
sendmail's access DB, DNSBL(s), and SpamAssassin. I've started documenting
how we did it at <http://bluebird.sinauer.com/~morse/cobalt/>, but so far
all I've got are the steps for adding a DNSBL. See
<http://www.sendmail.org/m4/anti-spam.html> (scroll to "access_db") for a
thumbnail outline of the access DB step, and
<http://spamassassin.taint.org/> for SpamAssassin, which uses procmail to
tag mail which gets by your block lists.
