So tell me as an ex Cobalt employee what has Sun done to the RaQ4 since
they acquired Cobalt? The Raq4 was well out in the wild long before Sun
came along apart from that they've changed the support model with Cobalt
you got free support not the fee based system in place now.
I'm not sure I see your line, don't get me wrong I'm not anti Sun but I
still don't think they were the best company to have bought Cobalt. Sun
have had to be brought kicking and screaming into the Linux world
despite all they said publicly that was not what went on behind the
scenes it has only been this year that inside Sun has been working with
Linux as well as talking about it the new servers are a testament to
that but they did complete the purchase of Cobalt in December 2000 a
long time ago in the internet age!
