It is done automatically by a number of email programs. And when I say "it", I refer to the name. The name is what ever name you have in your email program. If you don't want anyone to know your name and leave your email program blank, it puts in your email address. If you notice anytime it is done on the list, the name in the reply is the from "name". When you leave it blank, the return email address fills the spot. So, put a "name" in your email program and it will not revert to your default email address. Who cares what the name is. Just put something there, Bob, Joe, Juan, Sender, or something unique like Todd.
