Another line of questioning:
Does the particular website use https / or plain http ?
Do you know the web browser used to view it ?
When I first got a raq, we had a problem with users of IE getting intermittant
connection problems over https ( server cannot be found error / dns error ). This
was solved with a quick hack to the httpd.conf file.
