Okay here's the situation.
First I was handed control of a raq4i, that needed to have the following
patches installed:
RaQ4-All-Security-1.0.1-10602.pkg
RaQ4-All-Kernel-1.0.1.216C28III.pkg
RaQ4-en-OSUpdate-2.0.pkg
RaQ4-All-System-2.0.1-12854.pkg
RaQ4-All-Kernel-2.0.1-2.2.16C32III.pkg
RaQ4-All-Security-2.0.1-13453.pkg
RaQ4-All-Security-2.0.1-14039.pkg
RaQ4-All-System-2.0.1-13993.pkg
The install was uneventful, installed in their proper order and reboots done
where needed, but at 4:00am this morning (Sunday), the server was not
responding. I can access the servers GUI, ftp, ssh for all sites, but none
of the domains are responding. From the time that the server stopped
responding gives me the idea that it has something to do with the new
installs that would affect the normal servers cycle.
I have checked on the userlist and cobalt's knowledgebase and can't seem to
figure this one out. Anyone know what I should do. If I need to do a
complete reinstall there is no problem as there is a full backup, but I'd
like to avoid this if it's something simple and less time consuming
Thanks
Alisa
