Matt, Cobalts are based on modified versions of Red Hat. The version
depends on which model and generation you're running. Let us know which.
When I was getting my feet wet with the RaQ1 I found Red Hat Linux Unleashed
(for 5.2) by Sams to be pretty good. I haven't had much need for a Linux
book since then, but there are plenty that are good. I suggest picking one
that focuses on the appropriate version of Red Hat and is written in a style
that suits you with the content you're looking for.
