Hello all,
It looks like MySQL is more popular than PostgreSQL
and InterBase. Then why RaQ4 and RaQ550 are only
bundled with PostgreSQL and InterBase. MySQL users
have to install seperately?
I want to start using database. Which of the three
database is a better choice?
Actually the RaQ550 come with all three.

Don't believe me, check it out for yourself.
PostqreSQL runs the administrative thing on a Raq, I believe.
Personally I would leave it alone as such.
InterBase was a fairly expensive Borland product. They finally put a
version out for the open source market I believe and that is what is
installed. A good product, but as it used to cost real money, fewer people
use it.
MySQL is grabbing a large section of the market for those of us who do not
what to shell out the money for things like MS SQL or Oracle or IBM's
database. It appears to be quite stable and the price is right. Go with it.
