Hi did you also check your http logs
/var/log/httpd/access
to see if somone was hammering some
script like webmail or maybe a message board it is normal for sendmail to
reject mail at high load average that setting is in sendmail.cf I
increased mine a little as I used to get sendmail rejecting a few times
like when I was running backups and doing daily stats updates and I hvan't
had that problem in 2 years but you do see peoples scripts and also check
the
/var/log/messages to se if people were fting in at that time
But it sounds like some users script to me I guess you were not running a
backup etc at that time ?
