No, I doubt that you are. I use it, but I don't have a Qube. Only Raq2's
here. The qube2 and raq2's are the same mipsel architecture, so you
shouldn't have a problem installing Rsync.

his machines with as well as I.

Zeffie is an old list member. Since you are new to the list, it explains why
you don't know him.

Rsync doesn't create a package. It just transfers the files or parts of a
file that have changed since the last sync. If you want to decompress the
packages created from the built in backup method shell into your machine and
use tar. man tar for the manual pages.
