Agh, I just realized I botched my message.

Yes I do know how to do that Gerald (incidentally, that's another problem I
am having...I make an A record for mydomain.com but it doesn't work in my
web browser, while www.mydomain does).  Thank you for replying anyways...

But what I MEANT was I want to be able to type in
http://www.mydomain.com/downloads/ without the / after the downloads part.
It gives me a file not found if I don't type in that last / mark, and it
confuses people visiting my site.
