Ha. PC133 registered SDRAM.
the spec said nothing about ECC / registered did it....
The CPUs are 512kB cache PIII tualatin models. Very fast chips,
especially when compared to P4s.
very slow when compated to athlon MP, slugs when compared to Dual Intel®
Xeon? Processors up to 2.40 GHz and faster with 512K L2 cache as fitted to
the supermicro 1U server, which also takes Up to 8GB ECC registered PC1600
DDR SDRAM memory 4 two-way interleaved
which is on sale now from under UK£2,000
Someone asked about hard drives earlier in this thread. They'll ship
with either one or two 7200rpm 40 or 80GB drives.
supermicro takes 3 Hot-swap Ultra160 SCA 1" SCSI drive bays too...
I'm still waiting to be impressed.... a £1,000 price tag might impress me
