After hassling my ISP, I got them to admit that they knew of a problem with
Raq4's resetting their time on bootup. Since then though, I've had no
problems.
To keep your time in sync, use an NTP (Network Time Protocol) server.
The Raq4 has an option for this Control Panel -> Time.
Put a NTP server in the "NTP Server Address" box. Note: you should choose a
server that is geographically close to you for best results.
Cobalt even give you http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~mills/ntp/servers.htm as a
link in their help to aid you in finding a close NTP server. :D
HTH,
Joel Baker.

| Our RAQ4 server seems to continually to report the wrong time. There seems
| to be no rhyme or reason that I have spotted. Also it does not take long
for
| the time to get out of sync (2-3 days). I have searched the archive for a
| solution and have read various posts, but quite honestly am no further
| forward given my limited UNIX knowledge.
|
| Can anyone advise how to track the problem down and secondly a likely fix.
