The console is disabled by default on Qubes for use with a serial modem.
When the console port is enabled, you can not connect a modem to the
Qube.
With that out of the way, simply hold down the password reset button
when turning on the Qube to toggle the console on or off. You'll see
"Console on" or "Console off" appear on the LCD. Tune in to 115k 8N1
and you're off.
