Hi,
Regarding your request for somebody to load your Raq1 Drive with a Raq2 OS.
I can do this for you and will accept whatever you consider the reasonable
fee. I also have a number of New Seagate 10gb Drives here and I could load
the OS on one and just ship the drive to you. Make me a reasonable offer for
the New Drive and pay shipping. (These drives came out of Raq3 servers
directly from SUN, I put 20gb or 40gb drives in my servers.)
Let me know if I can be of any help.
Jeff Edwards
This is a 2 part question,
1)If I am reading the information about raqbackup correctly, I can use an
old RaQ as a backup server. Is this correct?
2)Assuming that the answer to question 1 is yes, I have an old RaQ with a
blown OS on it. I have tried everything under the sun to get the RaQ1 to
RaQ2 OS to load. Verified the correct NIC Card, 3 different crossover
cables, sadly no luck. Only thing I can think of is that something in how my
PC is configured is preventing it from working. So is anyone willing to try
and load the drive for me. Of course I will pay the shipping both ways and a
reasonable "fee" to have this done.
Please reply off list if your interested in doing this for me.
Thanks in advance,
