[cobalt-users] RAQ3 access to moved domain before DNS setup propagates

I am a novice hosting provider.

During the time between (1) when a domain is defined to my RAQ3 and (2) when
the DNS servers point to the correct IP address, how can we browse the
domain on the new server?

I have tried http://<IP>/~<user name>, http://<IP>/~<domain> and several
other combinations without success.

We do not have trouble using FTP access to load content.  Using the IP
address and user name works for access prior to changes on DNS servers
propagating to show the new server address.
