[cobalt-users] logining in via serial and glibc update

two questions

one, is there a way to get a login prompt via serial on a raq4?

and

after installing the glibc update i've run into this problem, i can't
see why it's associated with it, but it's the only thing that has
changed.  the box loses it's network connection after a few minutes, 2
or 3, of being up.  it doesn't lock up, i can reboot it and power down
and such all from the lcd, and watching it via serial doesn't show any
odd errors on booting or any kernel system messages that come up.  it
shutsdown and boots clean.  just loses connectivity.  anyone else had
this problem?  whether with the glibc update or not?
