I concur,  (DISK vs. mhz on Cobalt machines ).....thinking that throwing
more processor speed at it will not improve the performance measurably

If the software is not written to take advantage of the mhz in the CPU -
then a beefier (or not ) CPU mhz becomes irrelevant to a degree...

that was my 2 cents for this year...
