Why would you want to run on hardware with know major issues? Why not take
advantage of the recall? I got sun to exchange my old XTR for a new one, no
cost, in February. There are some issues with Sun not having your XTR in
their database if it was purchased before Sun took over, but that is not a
show stopper. I dealt with Andrea Deacon at Sun for the exchange. She is not
easy to get a hold of, but once I did things went fine.
