Part of the problem is that you are saying you have a script that connects directly to smtp...  well, sendmail USES smtp.  You can't have smtp without a "sendmail"-like program.  That's like saying you sped up web access by connecting directly to http instead of apache...  well, you still need a server running the http protocol.

what you can do to reach the ungodly amount of email is to put several cobalt raq servers behind a loadbalancer, such as foundry's server iron, or cisco's(arrowpoint's) content services switch.   You could then achieve the load of which you are speaking.

Dan, how old are you...13? 14? You sound quite immature!

I cannot comment on Herbalife, as I have never been involved with
that specific company. The company that I was involved with back
in 1997 was New Image International, Inc. They were a great company,
with great products, and a great compensation plan.
