Charlie, looks like you are a "search engine master" buddy!

I have been involved with several Network Marketing companies over
the past several years. The links that you posted in your reply are
all valid. I just reviewed each of them.

The first one (the pyramid scheme/chain letter) was actually NOT wrote
by me. If you notice the name "Jamie Donaldson" right above mine, you
will see that he is from Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Evidently, FIVE YEARS
AGO, he put my name on that USENET post. I may have posted my
name to one of those letters around that time though, who know's. I was
VERY "green" to the Internet in 1997. That was my senior year of high
school...and the high school was not even online. Today, I think that all
schools are "wired." I have always wanted to make money working from
home and being self-employed. When I first got online, some of the first
e-mails that I received were like the one we are discussing. At 17, who
wouldn't be fascinated by an e-mail that claims you can make $800K in
a few short months?

Did you notice the dates on each of the links that you posted? The newest
one was from 1998. I didn't get my first "personal" dial-up connection until
1997. Needless to say, I know better now. That was way back in the day
when I had very little knowledge of the entire "Internet World."

Also, I did NOT appreciate your phrase "weight loss schemes." The company
that I was involved with at that time was very credible. I sold a tremendous
amount of product and had a LARGE re-order rate. Needless to say, their
products worked. I suggest that you do some reading about the Network
Marketing industry. It is a credible industry. I am still involved in the industry
and making a lot of money. Actually, I make about two times the amount
of money in NWM than I do in my Internet development business. Times
have changed a lot in the past few years. More and more companies are
moving to a network marketing business model. It is the MOST POWERFUL
business model in the world. Just take a look at all of the affiliate programs
popping up online! Affiliate marketing, referral marketing, viral marketing...are
ALL forms of Network Marketing.

I would like to OFFICIALLY put a stop to this thread. I have received some
very valuable tips from several of the subscribers. I appreciate those who
have helped me out. Perhaps I will be able to return the favor in the future.

Thanks!
