That is correct. I used the web interface to install the Secure Shell
package. I was then able to connect to my RaQ XTR over the internet
using a Secure Shell Client. They exchange keys and this part works
perfectly.

I just reread the sshd man page. As far as initial configuration the
package installation is fine.

Except by starting it again through the web interface. However if I stop
it through the interface I can't seem to be in a posisition to create
a new account with a shell through the web interface,

This doesn't deal with how to create an account with a shell after
stopping telnet. And most important why ssh doesn't start up on a
reboot. I would either have to telnet it or use the web page to stop
it and restart it, which effectively starts the daemon running.

Are you able to restart you RaQ and still use ssh?
