Further ... I have returned the disk I removed to Slot A and restarted the
Qube3 without Disk B. I now have my week of lost data back. :-)
However Active Monitor is reporting that Disk A has failed!
Problem is Disk A is the ONLY disk in the machine and its working fine!
I do not believe its possible to actually connect the IDE cables to the
wrong disks. Looking inside the Qube Cable B appears to connect to the IDE
socket closest to the front of the Qube.
Authoritative comments would be appreciated.
