[cobalt-users] Future Raqs / Future alternatives?

My one and only Raq is a Raq2. Does a great job, and only paid a few
hundred for it on Ebay. A lot of customers don't need the PHP, ASP, and all
the BFD that goes with. If they come out with a new one that doesn't cost
an arm & a leg, I might just pick one up. They're so simple to work with,
and I really love that aspect.

However, I've gotta say... a short time ago I installed Plesk on a machine
that was literally going to be a throw-away. It's now serving up about a
dozen domains, and my customers are absolutely in love with it. They think
I'm some sort of genius for giving them all the goodies (Plesk makes it real
easy to insert your logo and branding on their pages.) And the brand new
software cost me less than the years-old Raq. Hmmmmmm.....

Can't beat the footprint, power requirements, and sheer simplicity of the
Raq, though. For that reason, I really hope Sun keeps 'em in the game.
