It is possible , i think.
The 3i cpu you can turn from 3*100 to 5*100 MhZ. But you can not
purchase a K6-II with more than 550 MhZ. I think it´s not worth.
Try my tip at http://www.cobalt-update.com . It is for RAQ3 not 4.
I don´know the factory settings of the RaQ4 so I can not say, how the
RaQ4 Mainboard will behave. If the RaQ4 usese the BF2 Pin by Factory (I
think it does ) the Trick will not work. The 3i don´t use the BF2 Pin
(3*100) so you can use it and get 5*100. IMHO the Board must use the BF2
to get 4,5*100 so
nothing will change with or without the wire.
Maybe you can locate the BF3 Pin... I try to get some Information about
this.
