I don't go manually editing configuration files or installing unnecessary programs that interfere with the cobalt mechanisms. I research VERY carefully before making ANY changes to the default configuration setups. I would guess that almost all servers that die after an official patch is released is generally (although possibly not always) down to tweaks and changes carried out by their owners 'under the hood'.So are you saying everyone should just get a MAC, and be done with it?
No. He's saying, if you want to customize your own box, then buy a regular one and install your choice of OS and do it, instead of crying like a pussy.
You (collective) cannot hold SUN Cobalt responsible for changes that YOU make to your system which subsequently cause THEIR (see I can actually spell their) official patches to make your system malfunction. You cannot therefore attempt a class action lawsuit against a manufacturer of a system where YOU have changed THEIR default settings and installations and claim it to be their fault that YOUR changes have lost you revenue because their updates "broke" your system. Had you not mucked about, it (almost certainly)wouldn't have broken. You don't seem to know much about the LAW!.
And you OBVIOUSLY don't know much about anything...go and spend some time throwing some darts at a RaQ or something a bit more constructive than you're doing here, OK?
