Rick, I'm not sure. I have 3 years experience administering Cobalt servers
internally and for clients, yet I have never once tried to put an other
operating system on a Cobalt box, nor do I have the desire. If I want to
run another flavor of *nix, I do so on different hardware. As people on the
lists I provided to you earlier can attest it's not trivial getting another
OS to run on a Cobalt server. From a cost/benefit standpoint I think it
would be extremely difficult to justify going that route. My 2 cents.
Though if you're willing to share why you want to go down this road I'm sure
many of us would appreciate it. I have to say that this thread would
probably be better suited for the cobalt-developers list so you many want to
repost there.
