Hi Gang!
This is admittedly OT, but NOT troll or flame bait, just something to
mildly amuse the Cobalt community. Have a great day everyone!
Preamble:
Like so many, I use Win2K at work and have an install running at home
also. Like many, I also have the insane urge to constantly tweak it and
loaded Zteq Systems' XSetup (tweak UI on steroids!)
I found this hilariously funnt nugget within the interface as I was
"tweaking" last night. (An XSetup plugin named; "Crash Control"
amazingly enough!) and I now quote the helpful little explanation
window:
<quote>
Windows 2000 includes a "feature" (?) that lets you blue-screen (crash)
the OS simply by holding the right CTRL key and pressing the "Scroll
Lock" key twice.
After activating this option, reboot your system. Then hold the right
CTRL key and press the "Scroll Lock" key twice.
Windows 2000 will react with a nice MANUALLY_INITIATED_CRASH (0xE2)
blue-screen...
If you don't have a right CTRL key, many PC manufacturers supply
software which permits you to "bind" existing keys to specified
functions. You should check with your manufacturer's documentation to
see if this option exists on your computer.

Reiterative Note: NOT troll or flame bait, just something to mildly
amuse the Cobalt community. Have a great day everyone!
Regards to all,
-Colin
