Thanks, Eddy.  I talked briefly to the siteadmin shortly after my first post and
discovered that this user is the only one out of 37 or so that is using Netscape
email client 4.7 she thinks, but is uncertain.  I haven't had that installed for
a long time now, but may reinstall it just to see what setting might be causing
this.
