I noticed that there is a /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit script that supposedly attempts to do that but some reason isn't. Any ideas as to what I need to do? It is importent that the time be right when the system comes up because the machine hosts forums and if the time gets adjusted later posts are out of order.

I have my RaQ3s run ntpdate after reboot., of course you have to have the NTP
server setup. And fix the firewall to pass port 123, at least from the server
you use....

last in rc.local
/usr/sbin/ntpdate host.your_ntp.tld >>/var/cobalt/sauce.log 2>&1
