You are probably going to have to edit /etc/fstab and remove the scsi drives???
my /stc/fstab (normal raq4r) looks like this:
/dev/md1 / ext2 defaults 1 1
/dev/md6 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/md3 /var ext2 defaults,nosuid 2 2
/dev/md4 /home ext2 defaults,usrquota,grpquota,grpid 3 3
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=0620 0 0
