It's hard to hear the numerous fans above my 7200 and 10K RPM
hard drive arrays. I can't really hear the Cobalts. :-)
Quite frankly, the noise doesn't bother me. Many times I've
slept at the network center, and I actually find the humming
and whirring quite relaxing. Even at home, the quiet is eerie
when (on rare occasions) no computers are running.
