AFAIK, there is no PKG file for 1.94.5 or patches for the "Cobalt way"
install.

Honestly, after realizing when I got my first RaQ2 ('99) that the Cobalt way
of setting up Majordomo wasn't standard, I've been installing my own copy of
Majordomo (1.94.5) and have not touched the GUI for administering the
Majordomo lists. I have working digests and web-based archives using
MHonArc. I have also installed Majorcool (Majordomo web interface) for
several clients on the RaQs using a separate standard Majordomo install. So
the possibilities are endless as long as you're willing to install a new
copy of Majordomo. FYI, Majordomo is not a daemon, it only runs when email
comes in which is piped to it so you will not increase server load or cause
any other problems by running multiple instances of Majordomo. In other
words, you can let users continue to use Majordomo through the Cobalt GUI
and administer lists running on the second copy of Majordomo separately.
Just make sure the list names don't conflict between both installs! And
rename the wrapper in the second install to something else, create a symlink
for it in /usr/adm/sm.bin/ and manually setup the proper lines in
virtusertable and aliases (or a new aliases file like aliases.mymajordomo
after adding a line to sendmail.cf so it's recognized). I know you were
probably hoping for something simpler, but this solution works and AFAIK
there isn't a better alternative (unless you want to migrate to Mailman,
which is an excellent product in its own right).
