Re: [cobalt-users] creating a virtual site without the "www" on a RaQ4

I've searched through the archives and I can't seem to find a way to create a

I need to do this so that I can get an SSL certificate that is linked to
secure.domain.tld -- that is, instead of "www.secure.domain.tld".

It's pretty straightforward:

- add a new site using the control panel
- specify "secure" as the host name
- specify "domain.tld" as the domain name
- if you like, add "www.secure.domain.tld" as a web server alias, but this URL will always bounce to "http://secure.domain.tld";

ta-da

don't forget you can only have one SSL cert per IP address, so you may need to get another IP for this site if you've already created a self-signed certificate for your main site (and control panel)... this is also specified when adding a add site or editing site settings
