Shaun,
The error you are recieving is a proxy based error, notably Squid.
It's more than likely the browser being Internet Explorer is trying to use
the proxy for any TCP ports (443 etc..)
Whereas Netscape may only be using it for HTTP (Port 80) based requestes.
Basically Internet Explorer is using the proxy for an SSL connection but the
proxy doesnt support it. Netscape and Opera appear not to be using the proxy
or have a different proxy setup to the default for IE.

Subject: [cobalt-users] Problems with Admin via SSL (Raq4i, IE5.x & 6)
Hi
We're using a Thawte certificate to secure our admininstration and offer SSL
capabilities to hosted sites, but we've found that SSL seems to make the
cobalt administration inaccessable to anyone using IE 5.x or 6. These
browsers return the error:
· Access Denied.
· Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at
this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel this is
incorrect.
I thought this problem could be accociated with the proxy we connect to the
web through, but we don't seem to have a problem with Netscape or Opera.
Has anyone else had the same problem, and more importantly, does anyone know
of a possible remedy?
Thanks,
Shaun Johnston
