Err...just a tiny cautionary note here.
777 is a really liberal permission, are you *sure* it won't run under
anything *slightly* more restrictive. In your place that would make me a bit
nervous...in fact more than that...paranoid!
Could you maybe make it 755 and try to see if it does what you need? At the
end of the day it's your call (and your site) but I'm concerned for your
site security.
