Hi Gang!
Trying to install ytalk from a RedHat rpm, getting the following:
[root@beast temp]# rpm -ivh ytalk-3.1.1-5.src.rpm
only packages with major numbers <= 3 are supported by this version of RPM
error: ytalk-3.1.1-5.src.rpm cannot be installed
This means that I can't even upgrade the package manager itself! rpm4.02
would similarly be disallowed. Ideas anyone? suggestions? inspirations? all
appreciated! :-)
Does anyone know if ytalk is available as a pkg? I did search on the new
pkgemaster site and came up with nothing, but that doesn't always mean there
is nothing! :-)
Regards to all & TIA,
-Colin
