You may want to look into the Control Station. It works like a BlueLinQ
server itself, and allows you to "push" a package to managed appliances
immediately or via a scheduler.
So it can grab copies of PKGs as they become available on the Sun
Cobalt "master" BlueLinQ server and notify you they are there. You can
then initiate a push to a test platform. Once you've validated that
the PKG is good, push it out to the rest of the boxes with a
mouseclick. It will send email when it's done.
With 10 systems, you're kind of on the cusp of it being useful for
the "cost" of keeping a separate RaQ4r running the Control Station
payload. We're considering giving away a "limited" copy of the
software, though, that would be free for up to 25 or 30 appliances;
beyond that, you'd have to pay for a "real" unit... please send
feedback to me if you'd be interested in a limited version, and I'll
forward it to the Control Station Product Manager.
