I have a server that has been crashing every day some time between
3:00pm and 7:00 pm EST for the last week since I installed it, a RAQ4.
>From what I am being told by the owner of the server that it had
happened in the past on an old RAQ2 that we migrated the RAQ4 from.
They have a firewall and only have web, pop3, and SMTP traffic open to
this server and from I can tell that is how the firewall has always
been. I have started blocking what I think are servers trying to SMTP
relay off of the server. Other than blocking each servers IP or network
range in the firewall is there a better way to stop this either on the
RAQ4 or firewall? I really need some help. I assume as soon as I get
these servers blocked there will be new ones to take their place.
Thanks
