[cobalt-users] domain pointing at directory of another site

I know that this has been covered and I thought I had found the answer here:
http://list.cobalt.com/pipermail/cobalt-users/2001-July/047557.html
The general idea is that I have www.sitea.com and I want it to point at the
the same web space as www.siteb.com
I have followed the instructions detailed in the page above but when I
restarted httpd I got an error saying that there is a syntax error at the
line which says
[L,R]
This is the first "gotcha" for anyone who hasn't done this as (on my
browser, at least) the line wraps and the [L,R] should be on the line above.
After correcting this my site still comes up with the old content rather
than that of the site which I want it pointed to.
Any ideas gratefully received.
