No .forward file is required to execute procmail on the RaQs.

I use procmail extensively on the RaQs. Here's one of the simpler setups
from a RaQ4 of mine. .procmailrc is chmod 640 and looks like:
SHELL=/bin/sh
VERBOSE=off
MAILDIR=$HOME/mail
PMDIR=$HOME/.procmail
LOGFILE=$PMDIR/log
INCLUDERC=$PMDIR/rc.lists
INCLUDERC=$PMDIR/rc.forward
INCLUDERC=$PMDIR/rc.move
INCLUDERC=$PMDIR/rc.spambust
The user's directory is chmod 711; chmod g+s. Hope that helps.
