Hi Steven,
i have installed and configured my Raq3 and working....
following the below steps...
cd /tmp
wget http://netfilter.filewatcher.org/ipchains/ipchains-1.3.10.tar.gz
tar -zxvf ipchains-1.3.10.tar
cd ipchains-1.3.10
make install
cd /tmp
rm -r ip*
To block or add more IPs example "192.168.168.168" to your RaQ3 servers,
simple type:
/sbin/ipchains -I input -s [IP here] -j DENY -l
eg.
/sbin/ipchains -I input -s 192.168.168.168 -j DENY -l
You need to add this setting into the bottom of the file /etc/rc.d/rc.local
for the auto startup when you have reboot your RaQ3 machine, if not, you
will be losing the setting.
regards,
daley
