Value Add.
You can cook a 1/4 Hamburger at home for much less then McDonald's, Doesn't
hurt McDonald's sales does it?
What about the network card? Is it just a 100 Mbs card?
I think it's simply an Intel 82558 NIC
Why the cost difference?
The Raq cost differences are due to the "value-add". Not everyone can build
a PC, load Linux, config Linux, Load a Control Panel, config a control
panel, admin, upgrade, maintain the server. Yadda, Yadda, Yadda......
For a simple to use, "out of the box" solution.... The Raq4 is worth the
extra bucks.
Now, The Raq Xtr on the other hand.. well, it's like paying McDonald's
$40.00 for a cheesburger. WAY WAY OverPriced IMHO
my 2 cents
