You aren't supposed to ask these questions. You're supposed to see the Sun logo, and then your brain is supposed to go dead, and then you're supposed to pay 4x what the product is worth, and not care very much when their tech support turns out to be really crappy unless you want to pay $90 to talk on the phone. Seriously though, the Cobalt platform kicked ass before Sun took it over. Just another example of big companies buying and then ruining small companies.
