Hi Jeff,
Let me make sure I understand what your saying.....
You're stating that your Raq4r doesn't rebuild drive 2 after each reboot and
your drives are not identical?
Yes, I'm speaking from experience.. I've also tried using a 45gb Maxtor &
45gb Western-Digital drive together. The Raq would rebuild upon every
reboot.
I've also tried using a Maxtor 40gb Drive 1 and a 45gb Maxtor as drive 2.
Rebuilds upon each reboot.
Works as described by cobalt when I use two identical 40gb drives (Maxtor
40gb 5400rpm) or two identical 80gb drives (Maxtor 80gb 5400rpm).

We have NOT found this to be true in our experience. The second drive
must be as large as, or larger than, the drive you're mirroring. That's
the only restriction we've come across.
