No, it's kind of like saying that we don't want his children into our
house, and maybe his tenants as well.

I don't feel that way. You probably don't either. But I don't see how
it's illegal.

California has a great law in place allowing me to collect money from
spammers. But that's a lot of work; I haven't done it yet. I've got
one guy "christianmoney.com" who I've asked over and over again to stop
sending me spam; he's been quite self-righteous about it, and maybe some
day, when he's coming to California to sell some of his crap I will
arrange to have had him sued in advance and a deputy to take away his
car or something (yes, I've got enough of his spam to do that, and the
law in California is pretty cut and dried).

But generally, most people are beyond suing.

And some people just don't understand. A friend of mine, who makes his
living entirely with investments, called me excitedly this morning to
tell me how great it was that there was now a law about spamming. How
did he know? He read it on the bottom of a piece of spam.

I directed him to a search engine and told him to type the bill number
into the search engine so he could see for himself that spammers lie.
And waste my time and his. And maybe even yours.

So yes, while I don't block them now, that's only a decision based on
NOW. Subject to change at any time.
