Hello,

webalizer (from pkg.master)gives me the following error every night
Error: Unable to open DNS cache file /home/log/reverse.dns
i search the archive but didnt find a solution anybody can help me
solve this, or how to stop this

See if you have the webalizer.conf.  "find / -name webalizer.conf"
If do you, copy it to the /etc directory.  I am NOT sure if it puts it into
the /etc/ by default or not (I forget)

Edit that file, and do a search for DNS.  You should see a line like
"DNSCache        dns_cache.db"

Look down a few more lines, you should see a "#DNSChildren 0" or something
similar.  If that line is commented out
it should not create the DNS Cache file.  Which would be the reverse.dns.  I
am assuming that is what the file is for.
I have been using webalizer both my Mandrake & Cobalt for some time, and I
have yet to see that problem.
